Irritu to direct The Revenant

Bucking his trend for just pointing their own personal projects, Alejandro González Iñárritu is apparently set to accept reigns on Warner's approaching adaptation of 1800s revenge story The Revenant.The film relies upon the novel of the identical title by author Michael Punke, and informs the storyline of the fur trapper who's assaulted with a bear and playing apparently mortal injuries.His Captain tries to carry him to the ship, before understanding he's onto a loser and employing two males to remain with him and bury him after his dying.They've other ideas however, determining to take advantage of the trapper and then leave him for dead.
