Irritu to direct The Revenant

Bucking his trend for just pointing their own personal projects, Alejandro González Iñárritu is apparently set to accept reigns on Warner's approaching adaptation of 1800s revenge story The Revenant. The film relies upon the novel of the identical title by author Michael Punke, and informs the storyline of the fur trapper who's assaulted with a bear and playing apparently mortal injuries. His Captain tries to carry him to the ship, before understanding he's onto a loser and employing two males to remain with him and bury him after his dying. They've other ideas however, determining to take advantage of the trapper and then leave him for dead. One improbable survival story later, and our guy has gone out for revenge upon the happy couple who screwed him over. The film's eventual lead can prepare themself for any fairly unrelenting duration of things, having a 3,000 mile trek to weather before his character can start to begin exacting vengeance. Whomever they cast will have to perfect their "ruggedly determined" face within the mirror.Iñárritu's films frequently concern themselves with individuals pressed towards the limits of the abilities, so for the reason that respect the project looks an excellent fit for that Mexican.Clearly that one reaches an extremely initial phase, but expect a slew of whispers concerning potential leading males to cross your path soon...
